V12 Vantage Roadster Testing at Nurburgring

Four scoops in the bonnet, a low-slung body, big wheels, a V12 roaring away and the wind in your helmet - that’s a recipe that will get your mouth watering. We are, of course, talking about the brand new V12 Vantage Roadster, Aston Martin’s latest car to sooth the soul and put the hair back on a man’s chest.
It’s only been a short while since Aston Martin announced this car, so it’s not surprising testing is still undergoing at the Nurbugring to ensure everything is in working order.

Of course, so as to not to get too much attention, the prototype is a boring gray with a black top, but the soundtrack it makes is incredible.

That’s because under the bonnet is a 6-liter V12 that puts out 510 hp at 6500 rpm. The Roadster is a bit heavier than the V12 Vantage coupe, but it still manages to reach 100 mm/h (62 mph) in 4.5 seconds, which is 0.3 seconds slower than the coupe.
