Gold plating your car in Arabia is too mainstream now. The latest and most expensive technique to make your car feature more “bling” is to include diamonds in it’s paint.
This Bentley Continental GTC was made by a Swiss company called Luxury Refinish, who specializes in diamond embedding for anything you could imagine. From cell phones and coffee machines to cars and airplanes. Name it, bring the cash and get the “ice”.
Bentley’s convertible touring car got a unique hood, painted with 32 layers of white paint mixed with a fine 101 carat diamond powder which solely cost abut one million AED (€212,237 / $272,257). Add the roughly $200,000 (€155,909) price of the car and voila ! A $473,000 (€368724) car is born.
