The company’s specialists recently decided to throw a big party. What can you expect from guys that would strap a turbo to anything that enters their visual range? They probably used 30,000 rpm turbochargers as shakers, adding an extra-topping of racing gasoline to their drinks. How else would you get the idea of taking a model from the contemporary Lamborghini range and almost (please forgive us for the stretch) double this output?
When we found out about the aftermarket developer’s project (we have to thank luxury4play for providing the pictures and info) we felt that this is our kind of madness and wanted to share it with you.
So, let’s get to the point, the starting point that is - a Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera. This is a Gallardo that has been using the gym while being on a diet, so you can imagine that it already uses an extreme approach when it leaves the Lambo factory. 570 hp extreme, that is.
The guys at Underground Racing got their hand on the car and then their reflex was triggered: they quickly showed twin turbos in the back of the supercar, made certain mods here and there and forced the 5.2 liter V10 powerplant to deliver no less than 1,000 hp - we are talking wheel horse power on pump gas here.
Of course the company also offers less muscular conversions (this is called Stage three), but it’s pretty hard to become interested once you’ve met the thousand...
