TyreSafe Dummies Need Smart Names

TyreSafe, the UK’s largest tyre safety organization, has launched an online competition in which you can win £50 of iTunes vouchers by taking part in the name game. The four new animated crash test dummies, which the company has adopted in order to promote safety, are in desperate need of a way that we can call them.

“Our dummies, which will feature in a range of online movies, posters and leaflets, are smarter than you might think as they will play an important part in helping reduce the number of tyre related accidents on our roads,”
Stuart Jackson, chairman, TyreSafe, explains.

“This competition will be a great way of bringing them to life and help to educate even more drivers about the importance of looking after their tyres properly. We’ve already had some fun thinking of some possible names ourselves and we cannot wait for the entries to start coming in. I’m sure that there will be some very clever ones,” he adds.

TyreSafe is a not-for-profit organization that wants to raising awareness of the dangers involved with defective and worn tyres. The company is signatory to the European Road Safety Charter which was launched in 2004 with the aim of halving the number of deaths on European roads.

If you want to enter in the competition, just log onto the TyreSafe website, www.tyresafe.org, to give the family of four crash test dummies individual first names, along with a family name. Full terms and conditions of the competition can also be found on the website. All entries must be submitted before 5pm on March 31st, or they won’t be considered valid. The winner will be announced by email within seven days.
