Lamborghini is the sort of car company that likes to take its time. While BMW launches new versions of their cars every other day, Sant'Agata Bolognese will take up to a decade before it reveals a brand new supercar.
It's much the same story with their special edition or limited production models. By far their most famous, and still quite sought after, is the Reventon. Launched in 2008, it was based on the Murcielago but came with a completely different look that has since become quite famous.
However, this is the Reventon Roadster we're talking about, which is even rarer. It was shown in 2009 at the Frankfurt Motor Show, but not as a production car. Official production figures were never published, but 15 supposedly exist, built for people like Aaron Kwok and Ralph Lauren.
We've recently stumbled upon not one but two Reventon Roadsters for sale on Jameslist. One is in Germany and has supposedly done 120 kilometres since 2010. The other is in the UK and has done only 100 km since it was built in 2011. If you're wondering why the prices are so high, that's actually the list price Lamborghini would have demanded.
