Talk about blind luck. A bus driver has just lain on the living room couch to catch a nap in between routes, when a truck crashed through her home, drove throughout it, and missed her by inches.
It happened in Templeton, Massachusetts, and the woman in question, Tracy Samuels, says she’s counting her lucky stars and giving thanks all-around that she hasn’t been hurt. There’s not a single scratch on her, despite the severity of the crash.

According to the police, a 2008 Ford F-350 driven by Simon Quero-Luna went off the road, collided with a tree and hit the house. It then drove through the entire living room and came out the other side, where it stopped because it hit a car parked in the driveway. Police were initially called on the scene by someone who thought an explosion had taken place.

When they arrived, they couldn’t believe their eyes: the house was destroyed, and the interior of the living room looked like an explosion had really taken place. On the other side of the house, they found the truck that had caused the mayhem.

Both the driver of the truck and the woman who was sleeping on the couch when it came crashing through were unharmed. However, the house was damaged so badly that it was declared temporarily condemned. Meanwhile, the Samuels family will live out of a hotel room – but they say nothing they lost is irreplaceable.

“I’m counting my lucky stars and thanking God we’re all still alive. Right now the only thing that matters is family,” she tells Boston25. “Christmas is a day is a day for family and that’s what I have, I have my family.”

Mrs. Samuels is also happy the driver of the Ford wasn’t hurt. Police are still investigating the cause of the crash.
