T.R. Knight in Minor Car Crash

T.R. Knight has been involved in several media scandals regarding his sexual orientation but he kept himself far away from DUI and car crashes. Until now...

According to People, the "Grey's Anatomy" actor was involved in a minor car accident in Los Angeles yesterday afternoon. Two other vehicles were involved in the crash but the 35-year-old actor was not injured.

"No one suffered major injuries," Sgt. O.C. Smith told reporters.

Knight was driving his car eastbound on Hollywood Boulevard, when he collided with another vehicle that was coming from the opposite direction. The accident involved another car with two passengers. The "Grey's Anatomy" star was not hurt but a female driver of one of the crashed vehicles complained of pain and consequently, she was taken to hospital. However, her condition is believed to be stable. Another man involved in the crash was also taken to hospital.

So far the causes of the crash have not been established and police are still investigating the matter. No citations have been yet given.

Theodore Raymond Knight, better known as T.R. Knight is an Emmy Award-nominated and Screen Actors Guild Award-winning American actor. He is best known for his role as Dr. George O'Malley in TV series "Grey's Anatomy".

And since we were speaking about his sexual orientation at the beginning, Knight doesn't hide his gay status and is currently dating Mark Cornelson.

When asked by People in 2006 about his sexual orientation, Knight answered: “I guess there have been a few questions about my sexuality, and I'd like to quiet any unnecessary rumors that may be out there. While I prefer to keep my personal life private, I hope the fact that I'm gay isn't the most interesting part of me.”

Well, after the crash he's been involved in, certainly his sexual orientation is not the most interesting topic about him.
