Toyota is the first automaker to provided hybrid technology to the masses, with the introduction of the Prius model back in 1997.
Only 16 years have passed since that key moment and Toyota is now the automaker to offer the biggest hybrid range. Toyota (including Lexus) currently offers four times more hybrid vehicles than any other automaker.
And if you’ll say that hybrids are not as green as they should because of their manufacturing process, calm down and think again what other ecological measures Toyota takes - like mounting solar cell panels on its factories, using returnable containers, sponsoring environmental organizations and extending EV-sharing transport systems.
