Toyota Supra Charger Is Not Your Regular Dodge

As some car gals and guys would tell you, the rendering parked on our screens right now is not random. And there's more to it than the rising popularity of pixel creations showcasing automotive face swaps.
Somebody outside the automotive realm might wonder why a Japanese sports car from the '90s now wears the front end of a 1960s muscle car. Well, the Mk IV Supra and the 1970 Dodge Charger R/T have been seen as an inseparable pair even since the original movie of the Fast and Furious franchise came out back in 2001. Just in case anybody needs a refresher, the GIF at the bottom of the story will have you covered.

Looking past living one's life one quarter-mile at a time (we know, doing that doesn't come easy), this pixel mélange, which comes via Car Front Swaps, reminds us of similar aftermarket play from the real world.

Perhaps the best example of this comes from the Pandem Boss kit that Japanese tuner Tra Kyoto has developed for the S14-generation Nissan Silvia. Offered as the second-generation Nissan 240SX in North America, this came out in 1993 (Japanese production), just like the Mk IV Supra. As for the Boss package, it resembles the front end of the original Chevrolet Camaro, which obviously rivals the Charger seen in the rendering.

Of course, there are plenty of questions that remain unanswered here, whether we're talking about design or the tech side of the virtual proposal.

Let's start with the TRD (Toyota Racing Development) wing present on the Supra - should it be replaced with the even larger wing of the 1970 Dodge Charger Daytona?

Moving on to the motivation, we have to mention the engine choices for such a contraption: should the 2JZ stay in place, possibly with a monstrous turbo installed, or would such a beast be better off with a member of the HEMI family?
