 After we learned that a Toyota GT 86 can be as fun as a Ferrari F12 but for less cash, comparing it with something else would probably make no sense.
However, thought to put it against something more from its class – the Kia Cerato Koup Turbo which comes at a very competitive price of AU$27,990, two grand less than the 86. So let’s see how competitive it is.

Maybe its biggest advantage is the fact that it comes better equipped, having 18-inch alloy wheels, a full spare tire, parking sensors and rear-view camera, Bluetooth audio streaming, auto headlights and wipers as well as two more optional packages for more convenience.

Under the hood, although its turbocharger 1.6-liter engine develops a bit more power, it still doesn’t compare with the linearity provided by the Toyota’s naturally aspirated 2-liter. And if we have to talk about how it drives and its fun factor, its front-wheel-drive configuration can’t get close to the tail happy GT 86.
