Another country, another chart, another win for Toyota, which recently claimed the title as the Australia’s favorite car.
According to latest reports, the Toyota Corolla (known as the Auris in other markets) put the Japanese automaker in first place for the 11th consecutive year, with the model being the top-seller in the Australian charts.
Preliminary sales figures tell that Toyota sold around 215,000 new vehicles in Aussie Land last year, from which about 43,500 were Corolla models, out of a total of 1.14 million cars sold.
Holden finished second, with about 110,000 new cars sold, while the third place got occupied by Mazda which posted sales of around 100,000.
