It looks like the new Toyota Harrier managed to attract a lot of attention in Japan, with the company receiving about 20,000 requests for the model since its reveal.
The redesigned Harrier went on sale in Japan on December 2nd, and so far, Toyota sold around 12,000 units including preorders. The hybrid version expected to arrive in January 2014 also registered around 8,000 orders so far. Summing it all up, the new Harrier registered almost eight times more sales than the monthly 2,500 target.
The 2014 Toyota Harrier comes with a more elegant exterior and quieter interior, while a new suspension and improved aerodynamics make for a more comfortable ride and driving stability. Offered in four grades, the SUV can be had either with a 151 PS 2-liter 3ZR-FAE or a 197 PS 2.5-liter hybrid system.
