Here’s another cool Toyota sedan to add to the collection or even use as a daily driver if you wish to be a bit different.
You are now looking at a fourth generation Toyota Crown, manufactured between 1971 and 1974. This was the first generation Crown to be marketed as a Toyota in Japan, as the previous models were still called Toyopets there. It was also know as the “blue whale” or “kujira” there, maybe due to its futuristic front styling and the color it was predominantly being offered - a bluish silver.
Other oddities were represented by the remote trunk opening feature, for which you had to turn the ignition key to the far left, a radio signal seeking button mounted on the floor and one for the rear passengers mounted behind the front seats.
The one for sale here is powered by a 2.5-liter five-cylinder engine, making 131 PS connected to an automatic gearbox. The car looks in a very good shape and the ad says it only has 56,000 km (34,800 miles) on the odometer.
Selling price is set at €9.650 ($13.317). Check the ad here.
