Although the model is in its final year of production, the Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG Coupe Black Series is still heralded as one of the only two three-pointed star cars that look like it came straight from a race track to the road.
Since the Black Series not only talks the talk but also walks the walk, it has been continuously praised by automotive journalists from around the world as being one of the best road-going Mercedes-Benzes on a circuit and one of the world's best super coupes.
The Brits from Autocar decided to put it up against two somewhat similar cars from the UK, but sadly they decided to do the test on a drenched circuit, where the lap times of the three models are pretty much meaningless from our view.
Nevertheless, they chose the very limited GT edition of the Jaguar XKR-S Coupe and the mighty Aston Martin V12 Vantage S, each with quite a lot more horsepower than the not exactly puny C 63 AMG Black Series.
