Tow trucks and the people who drive them are more important than you`d think. Their vehicles are used for a very wide array of activities, from towing improperly parked motors, to helping stranded motorists get out of harm's way.
It seems that this particular tow truck driver did not have anything to tow at the time the video above was shot. However, that all changed when a white Ford Focus estate cut its path in a rather busy intersection, where all cars seemed to be driving a bit too quickly.
It hits the Focus from the side, crushing its entire right flank. The crash itself is not particularly spectacular, but it is somewhat ironic that a tow truck which is supposed to make such situations easier and more convenient actually caused the incident in the first place.
