Turns out some people really have a crazy story to tell, only problem is they need somebody to listen to it. This cab driver from New York definitely found the right listener when he met Brandon Stanton, the guy who created the famous Humans of New York blog.
The story was uploaded on the blog’s Facebook account on Monday and it now has almost 1 million likes. The cab driver explained how the day he picked up two-times Academy Award winner Tom Hanks totally changed his life. At first he didn’t even want to take the call as he was at the end of the shift and wanted to go home.

But then I think about it, and I start feeling bad for the guy, cause hey-- I got a conscience. So I call him back to the cab and tell him to hop in. And he gets in the car all excited, all animated, and he's talking about all these things. But he's got his cap pulled down way over his eyes, so I can't see who it is”, the cab driver recalls.

Mr. Ferrari

Moments after he realizes he’s driving one of the highest-grossing actors in film history he goes crazy.

He sees that I’ve got this Ferrari hat on, and a Ferrari shirt too, so he starts calling me ‘Mr. Ferrari’. So after we get to his destination, we snap a quick photo, and he goes on his way,” the man told Stanton.

Mr. Ferrari is left so impressed by the famous actor he keeps telling everybody the story, including some of the actors actually working with Hanks. One led to the other and one day Hanks sends him tickets for his Broadway show. Not only he attends, but his lady and him actually get to hang out with the Hollywood star in his dressing room, after the show.

Turns out people actually loved the man’s story considering Mr. Ferrari even has a Facebook page now, that already 3,800 likes. How about that for a interesting encounter?
