As you probably already know, the F15 X5's tailgate opens in more than one way. The tailgate can be split in two, thus allowing you to use your car as a typical hatch or as a proper SUV instead.
This feature also has some more tricks up its sleeve and the BMW guys decided to show them to you. First off, you should know that you can open the tailgate either from inside the car, using the button on the door, either using the key fob.
Closing the tailgate can also be done from outside or inside of the car. From outside of the car you can use the button located on the lower part of the tailgate, whilst for operation from inside the car, you can pull back the button on the door, designated for the tailgate.
A new feature for the 2014 model is that you can adjust the way the tailgate closes using the iDrive system. For more info on that, we'll let you watch the video below.
