Seeing a 2018 Audi S4 dare a Lamborghini Huracan Evo to a 1/4-mile drag race is a bit like watching Jake Paul challenge Mike Tyson in his prime to a boxing match. However, this isn't your straight-out-of-the-factory Audi S4. It's been transformed into somewhat of a beast itself. So, without any further ado, let's see the fight.
First, let's meet our tarmac gladiators and see what each one is packing under that hood.

The Audi S4 comes equipped with a 3.0-liter V6 turbocharged engine that, under normal circumstances, delivers 349 hp (354 ps) with 369 lb-ft or 500 Nm. It has an 8-speed automatic gearbox, weighs around 3,935 lbs. or 1,785 kilograms, and should hit 60 mph in 4.4 seconds with a top speed of 155 mph or 249 kph.

Because this has been taken apart and put back together to be stronger and faster, it now outputs 552 hp or 560 ps with a whopping 619 lb-ft or 840 Nm of torque. Mat Watson from the "carwow" YouTube channel is behind the wheel.

The whole thing, mods and all, cost around 24k GBP, equivalent to $30,242. In the USA, the brand new 2024 Audi S4 Sedan TFSI Premium version starts from $55,595, the TFSI Premium Plus from $58,595, and the Prestige quattro is north of $62,895.

Now, let's move to the real race car that's dressed to impress, the Lambo Huracan Evo. This beauty is donning the famous and beloved 5.2-liter V10 engine that produces 631 hp or 640 ps and 443 lb-ft (600 Nm) of torque. It's all-wheel drive with a 7-speed automatic DCT and can hit 62 mph or 100 kph in just 2.9 seconds. It weighs 1,422 kg or 3,135 lbs. and has a top speed of 202 mph or 325 kph. This Evo cost around 249,886 US dollars, literally ten times more than the S4.

Everything was in order during the first race, with both cars having a great launch. By the end, the Audi put the Lambo to shame, beating it by what looked like a mile. The second race was breathtakingly close. You couldn't tell who won unless you viewed the footage in slow motion. It was a perfect photo finish from the sideline. It turns out the Audi won again by a hair. They both finished the 1/4-mile in 11.1 seconds.

A couple of roll races followed, where the Lambo won back its glory twice in a row. The final test involved braking from 100 mph or 160 kph, and while it was very close, the Audi won.

As a bonus run, they went for one last drag race, where the Lambo washed its sorrowful tears and replaced them with a smile of glory because it beat the Audi to a pulp. The Evo finished the race in 10.9 seconds, while the S4 couldn't beat its previous time of 11.1 seconds.
