You don’t have to be a stand-up comedian to know that Jeff Dunham is one of the most talented entertainers out there. Believed to be the man who revived ventriloquism, the creator of “Achmed the Dead” is not as poor as you might think though. He might act like a Ford Transit driver, but his driveway is a bit more than that.
First, a bit of introduction. If the fact he’s been invited at numerous television shows doesn’t ring a bell, maybe one of Dunham’s six specials that run on Comedy Central do. Sure, Time magazine said that all of his characters are politically incorrect, gratuitously insulting and ill tempered, but he also was named “America’s favorite comedian” by Slate.com.

Judging by the scale of fame the 52-year old comedian managed to gather online, it sure proves he is among the best in the business. Just think about it, he received more than 350 million hits on YouTube as of October 2009 (his introduction of Achmed the Dead Terrorist in Spark of Insanity was ranked as the ninth most watched YouTube video at the time).

And mind you, all that success also counts in a lot of money. Yep, Forbes.com ranked Dunham as the third highest-paid comedian in the United States behind Jerry Seinfeld and Chris Rock.

Knowing all the above do you still think Dunham is a Ford Transit driver. Like most of us, you’d imagine him stashing all his dummies, puppets and whatnot in the back of a Volkswagen Transporter or something similar, but it appears he too is a big car enthusiast. As opposed to others though (say Jerry Seinfeld who is renown for his car collection and his passion for Porsche) we have to admit that Jeff remained somewhat funny in real life as well.

Judging by the image Jalopnik posted recently, Jeff likes to keep things in the same color and brand. He owns a 1970 Dodge Challenger RT and its younger nephew, the bad-boy of the muscle cars, the Hellcat. Since the two vehicles are related, he got them finished in the same color and we have to say we like it.
