Hennessey will sell you an HPE700 Mustang for $59,500 including the donor car. Roush asks for $54,985 for a 670 horsepower Stage 3 upgrade. Lebanon Ford in Lebanon, Ohio, however, will sell you a 727 horsepower Mustang GT for $39,995.
Considering that a no-frills Ford Mustang GT Fastback holds a suggested retail price of $36,395 sans destination, the LFP 727 Mustang is the steal of the century. The secret of the upgrade from 435 horsepower to 727 horsepower is a tried-and-tested Roush Phase 2 2.3-liter TVS supercharger.

As per the description on the Lebanon Ford website, “when we are finished, you are a set of tires, a few suspension tweaks and a good driver away from a 10.95 quarter mile. The best part, we can do it all with $0 down, pending credit approval.”

Built upon the Mustang GT 300A package, the LFP 727 Mustang boasts 610 lb-ft (827 Nm) of get-up-and-go and comes with lots of standard goodies. The highlights include Ford Track Apps, reverse parking camera, SYNC infotainment, high-intensity discharge lamps, and dual power seats. Oh, and another thing I’ve almost forgotten to tell you: this pony-turned-muscle car can run the 1/4 mile in 10.95 seconds.

Better still, you’re buying the LFP 727 Mustang from an authorized dealership, and that’s why you get 3 years or 36,000 miles worth of warranty, whichever comes first. This gives you coverage and the peace of mind that if something goes wrong, you are covered. And yes, the warranty is honored at any Ford dealer in the United States.

Those who already own a Mustang GT but want the extra oomph, rejoice! Lebanon Ford can turn your Five-Oh into a Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat-rivaling brute. I’m afraid I don’t know how much that costs, but don’t expect to pay more than $7,550, though. In any case, do you know any other brand-new car that offers 727 horsepower and an absurd amount of torque for less than $40,000? Thought so.
