Aston Martin, one of the most distinctive and exquisite sports car makers, has officially started its foray into real estate. As you can imagine, they’re not going to build just any building: they’re aiming to build the most exclusive, luxury and visually stunning piece of real estate in Miami.
The Aston Martin Residences, announced in 2017, is officially under construction: the first loads of cement were poured into the foundation in the summer of 2019, with a 2022 deadline for the end of all work. As of the time of writing, about 50% percent of all the condos in the 66-story residential building have already been sold, but no word yet on the penthouse that’s gotten everyone talking.
At the top of the building will be a triplex-level penthouse that will sell for $50 million and will include the last of the 24 ever made Aston Martin Vulcans. So, in addition to almost 20,000 square feet of living space, 360-degree views of the city of Miami, the Bay and the Miami River, direct access to the superyacht marina (the only one in Miami), your personal pool and gym, and access to the butler service, you will also get your very own $3 million supercar.
The Vulcan comes in white, with carbon ceramic brakes, 6-speed sequential transmission and a carbon fiber body. With a V-12 engine and 800 hp under the hood, the Vulcan is track-only, but the new owner will not have to worry about that: with the purchase, he or she will get access to a private track club, as well as driving lessons and all the assistance they might need in manhandling such a beautiful and powerful beast.
The triplex comes with floor-to-ceiling windows and marble floors, 6 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms.
The project is being developed by G & G Business Developments from Argentina, and will be infused with the Aston Martin style and elegance or, as they put it, “unrivaled prestige, unequaled craftsmanship, uncompromising standards.” The reception desks will be made of carbon fiber, and the doors will have Aston Martin handles and leather door tabs. The lucky buyer of the $50 million penthouse will also receive consultations with Aston Martin’s Chief Creative Officer, Marek Reichman, for the finishing touches to his new home.
The upper part of the building will be occupied by 7 penthouses (including the triplex) stretching over 9 floors and priced between $5 and $16 million. Going down, there is an amenities area (called “Sky Amenities”) that stretches over several floors and includes gyms and fitness centers, 2 cinemas, salons, a pool and spa area, meditation areas, “teen centers” (whatever that means), children’s playrooms and curated art galleries.
A personal butler service will be optional, and residents can use it to call a yacht and take a ride to the nearby beach, whenever they grow tired of the pools available. “Owners can use the Aston Martin Residences Butler Service to call an exclusive yacht from their condo for a short cruise along the world-renowned waters of Miami to the beaches,” Aston Martin says. “Taking to the water for this journey offers a relaxing and unique perspective of the city and its breathtaking skyline. Live a holistic experience where sophistication meets seclusion.” Quite a fancy way of saying “let’s hit the beach!”
The condos are divided into sky residences, panoramic residences and river residences, with their names being self-explanatory and prices starting from $750,000. Then, there’s the ground level lobby, which will actually occupy 3 separate floors.
Aston Martin is a brand that stands out on the automotive market thanks to its history, commitment to quality and attention to detail. The Aston Martin Residences will be no different: the building will be “one of a kind,” “the pinnacle of elegant living,” they boast. With the offer of a rare Vulcan with the purchase of a $50 million penthouse, they can add exclusive and outrageously expensive to the list.
