A ’67 Porsche 912 that’s in a surprisingly-good condition is being sold on Craigslist, and the best of all is that the owner isn’t even asking for a fortune in exchange for the car.
The Porsche 912 is described as a true barn find, and there’s a good chance it really is. The seller says the car has been parked since 1989, which means the Porsche has spent its last 31 years sitting in a barn.

The good thing is that it looks like the car has been stored in the right conditions, as there’s no major sign of unfixable rust on its body. And as everybody knows, rust is the biggest problem for cars discovered in barns after all these years, and the whole thing makes the restoration a much bigger pain in the neck.

However, the car comes with the original Sand Beige color in a pretty good shape, or at least, that’s what we can tell from the photos that are included in the Craigslist post. However, the owner does admit that rust showed up here and there, but the car 'is not completely rotted out.'

The Porsche 'rolls, steers, and brakes,' the seller says. Unfortunately, they say they haven’t tried to start the engine, which is quite a shame because this is what most potential buyers are looking for.

The car comes equipped with a 914 engine, so it was replaced at some point during its lifetime. The 5-speed manual transmission is still there, and so are a bunch of extra parts that will be sold together with the car and help with the restoration should anyone be willing to do it.

As for the price, the seller wants $11,000 for the car, which is as fair price, albeit the engine could make some look elsewhere.
