One thing that’s great about prefab tiny homes is that they don't necessarily have to be tiny. HouseMe Transportable Homes, a New Zealand-based builder, includes in its extensive range a deluxe model that is truly a crown jewel – it's not only the lengthiest design, but it also boasts an impressive three-bedroom configuration that would make most families perfectly happy.
What could be better than a tiny home that comes with the advantages of full mobility while showing off a sophisticated, family-friendly layout with three spacious bedrooms? And they're all on the same floor, with no hard-to-reach loft areas. You might think that the generous accommodation means that other areas of the house have less space, but that's not the case. This lovely home also boasts a full-size central kitchen that is truly a chef's dream and a shared walk-through bathroom with full comfort.

Most prefab tiny homes built by HouseMe are typically three to 3.6 meters (9.8 to 11.8 feet) in width and vary only in length. The brand's line comes with a wide spectrum of standard lengths ranging from just 5.3 meters (17.3 feet) all the way up to 12.5 meters (41 feet), which is the maximum length allowed.

This mammoth version is rightly called the Deluxe Tiny. It's not only extra-long but also extra-wide, with 4.4 meters (14.4 feet) in width. These generous dimensions can be adapted to either a two-bedroom or three-bedroom configuration, with a central kitchen and a shared bathroom.

One of the best things about the layout of the three-bedroom Deluxe Tiny by HouseMe is that all of the three bedrooms sit at either one of the home's ends, which allows added privacy and quiet for a good night's sleep. At one end, you have the main bedroom, which truly feels like a luxurious, sumptuous cocoon.

It's spacious enough for a king-sized bed and no less than three large wardrobes, with enough walk-around space left. Ample windows on one side and smaller ones on the end wall ensure proper ventilation and keep the room filled with natural light, not to mention the great views.

The other two bedrooms sit at the opposite end of the house, separated by a wall. They're smaller than the main one but still large enough to fit in a bed and a full-height wardrobe each. They come with separate entries, which is a great option not just for families but also for customers who want to turn this tiny home into a vacation rental.

The lounge area is placed near the two smaller bedrooms, so the private doors help create a much-needed separation. This part of the house also boasts excellent versatility due to its sheer size. Like the kitchen, it was designed to get bursts of sunlight throughout the day thanks to the extra-wide windows and glass doors. Another characteristic of this particular layout is that it emphasizes the indoor/outdoor connection, which makes the home feel more like a luxurious retreat for those who want to be closer to nature.

An L-shaped kitchen takes up most of the home's central section. This is truly a luxurious kitchen that isn't in any way inferior to those of traditional mansions. From the ample countertop space to the impressive array of cabinets, cupboards, and shelves, this kitchen screams spaciousness.

The full-length pantry at the end is also 600 mm wide (23.6 inches), and it's placed right next to a full-size fridge. As for appliances, the Deluxe Tiny comes equipped with a full-size oven, a four-burner cooktop, and a ducted rangehood. Underneath the stylish countertop, it also holds a separate compartment for a full-size dishwasher.

Despite the abundant space dedicated to storage, this lavish kitchen also boasts enough floor space for the addition of a floating island or a separate breakfast bar. Plus, future owners can play around with the living room and kitchen layout to create a welcoming area for parties and entertaining guests that extends seamlessly to the outdoors.

The bathroom is entirely separate from the kitchen area, and it sits closer to the master bedroom. It comes with a full-size, 900 x 900 mm (more than 35 inches) shower cabin and a standard flush toilet with a macerator pump attached. Multiple cabinets, including an under-vanity cupboard, provide ample, easy-to-reach storage. There's also a separate compartment for a full-size washing machine.

As comfortable and stylish as a contemporary luxury home, the three-bedroom Deluxe Tiny is also built to be durable, sturdy, and fully transportable (it's fitted with two galvanized steel skids). A total of 12 windows (fitted with roller blinds) bathe the entire floor space in sunlight, creating the illusion of an even bigger space. Although, with an impressive 50 square meters (538 square feet) of floor space, it's hard to ask for more.

The most luxurious home available at HouseMe can be delivered across New Zealand, with pricing starting at NZD 169,000 ($106,000).
