It looks like Tesla is making efforts not to disappoint the investors who offered it a huge amount of trust - the company’s IPO raised $226 million in the first day, with the second day of trading bringing its shares up by 40.5 percent.
The EV maker took some time to create an update for the Roadster model, while the anticipated Model S is still in development phase.

The car, which is dubbed Roadster 2.5, comes with both visual and technological updates, which “are the direct result of accumulated customer feedback.”

The tech enhancements include a power control hardware that allows sporty driving in hot climates, an improved interior soundproofing, which includes new front fender liner material, and an optional rear-view system that offers a back-up camera and a seven inch touchscreen display. The vehicle has also been fitted with a new set of seats, that offers better comfort and improved lateral support.

The revised Roadster has received a new front fascia with diffusing vents and a redesigned rear diffuser. The company said that the elements show its future design language. The car rides on directional forged wheels that can come on a black or silver finish.

The new elements brought by the 2.5 version are also retrofitable to the previous version of the car (2.0), but only in certain conditions, which were not specified by the EV maker.

The Tesla Roadster will be unveiled at the recently-opened Copenhagen and Newport Beach, California showrooms, with the vehicle being available for order.

P.S.: The Tesla press release proudly started off with a mention of Tesla’s recent TSLA Nasdaq name.
