The Palo Alto-based carmaker has been on a bit of a roll lately in terms of good news. More recently, Tesla Motors' Supercharger grid in Europe inaugurated a new station, the 54th in Europe and 168th worldwide if you include the 105 Supercharger locations in the United States and 9 other stations in Asia.
European markets such as Norway, the U.K., , the DACH Region, Benelux and France are the places where Tesla sells the most Model S electric sedans on the continent, so it's not surprising that the EV manufacturer is trying to extended its Supercharger network round here as soon as possible. The new station is located in a city called Narbonne, in France.
The Narbonne Supercharger is open around the clock and has free Wi-Fi access. It's close to the Novotel Hotel, where Model S owners can go have a drink or eat for the 20, 30 or 60 minutes it takes for their eco-friendly vehicles to charge up. At the present moment, Tesla boasts with Supercharger routes that enable electric travel on routes like Berlin to Frankfurt, Hamburg to Geneva, Oslo to Stockholm to Copenhagen and Paris to the Cote d'Azure, also known as the Route du Soleil.
In the United States of America, Tesla Motors operates 105 stations, covering 80 percent of the population and some parts of Canada. By the end of 2015, Elon Musk's company plans to offer Tesla Model S owners a whopping 98 percent coverage throughout the country, so the worry of running out of electric juice will disappear for drivers of the luxurious electric sedan.
