A more accurate title would be 'Teen receives 2004 Red Mustang Convertible for showing everyone how we should all behave if we're to live in the society we'd all like to'.
2020 is shaping up as a year that'll be very hard to forget for the entire world, but even more so for all U.S. citizens. First, there's the ongoing health crisis that was first derided by the authorities, only for desperate measures to be taken afterward when the death toll began to rise - and we're not exactly out of the woods yet.

Then late May came the murder of George Floyd at the hands of a Minneapolis PD officer named Derek Chauvin which, as you surely know, sparked some of the largest protests the country has seen lately. The situation is pretty bleak.

Thankfully, even in the darkest moments, you'll always be able to uncover heartwarming stories such as that of Antonio Gwynn if you dig hard enough. This African American teen spent the good part of one day cleaning up Bailey Avenue in Buffalo, New York after the protests on Monday, June 1st.

As it happened, another youngster named Matt Block found himself in a pickle: he wanted to get rid of his 2004 Ford Mustang convertible, but he was too emotionally attached and couldn't bring himself to sell it. Seeing the report on Gwynn, he decided it was the perfect opportunity to kill two birds with one stone: find a new worthy owner for his ride and repay a kind of conduct that's nowhere nearly enough rewarded.

Needless to say, Antonio Gwynn was touched by the gesture. "It doesn't feel real," he told 7 Eyewitness News. "It seems this is like a movie." To make things even more emotional, Matt Block's Mustang apparently looked just like the one Antonio's late mother used to drive, so you can imagine the young man's excitement at the thought of owning one himself.

And the thanks from the community kept pouring. Not only did he get full insurance for one year for the Mustang, but he'll also receive a full scholarship at the Medaille College where he'll study business. "I literally stopped, pulled over, and then I started crying," he recalls upon hearing the news. Antonio's plan is to open a repair shop: "I always wanted to be someone that can just help everyone with their car problems." Well, with the kind of can-do attitude he shows, we don't see why he won't be successful.
