Techart Unveils Porsche Panamera GrandGT

The German tuners at Techart have just come up with a new enhancement program for the Porsche Panamera, which is set to premiere at the Auto Zurich Car Show on November 11, 2010. Dubbed GrandGT, the program comprises both visual as well as performance modifications for Porsche’s fourth model.

Exterior changes are made from fiber-reinforced composite based on carbon, glass-fiber-reinforced plastic and polyurethane RIM components. They include a new front bumper with integrated splitter and large ventilation intakes multifunctional daytime running lights (comprising daytime running lights, position lights, parking lights and turn signals, an Aero engine hood, and more).

Other exterior highlights of the GrandGT include side skirts, 21mm wider flared fenders, headlight trims, side air outlets, a roof spoiler plus a distinctive rear apron and diffuser. Rounding off the look are a set of dual tailpipes with oval exhaust tips
and custom design alloys sizes 20- 21- and 22-inch.

Inside the Porsche Panamera GrandGT we find, as Techart has already accustomed us, decorative stitching in custom color or parts in fine wood trim, as well as unique interior packages.

Entertainment options available comprise two 7-inch screens that are seamlessly integrated in the design of the front seat backrests, incorporated in a high-quality leather screen console matching the color of the vehicle’s interior, for the rear passengers of the four-seater. Other highlights include a center console unit for adding a 12V outlet and integrated cupholder to the storage compartment located in the rear passenger compartment, accompanied by rear fold-away tables.

Performance wise, the GrandGT comes with a TA 070/T1 powerkit that boosts the power output oft the 4.8 l twin-turbo engine from 493 hp to 571 hp. The generated torque increases from 700 Nm to no less than 830 Nm.
