The Porsche Panamera Turbo has received an interesting modification package from TechArt.
Using the Techtronic (or TA 070/T1) name, the package offers the driver the possibility to get a power boost at the touch of a button.
The vehicle’s turbocharged 4.8 liter V8 unit, that develops 500 hp when it leaves the Porsche factory, gets an 80 hp power increase when the person behind the wheel pushes a button installed on the center console. The boost also brings the vehicle to a maximum torque of 830 Nm between 3,200 rpm and 3,600 rpm.
The tuning kit allows the Panamera to deal with the 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) sprint in 3.8 seconds, leave the 124 (200 km/h) mark behind in 12.5 and offer a top speed of 195 mph (315 km/h). For the sake of comparison, we’ll remind you that the factory stock Panamera Turbo needs 4 seconds to reach 62 mph and has a top speed of 188 mph (303 km/h).
“Every athlete is dreaming about it - a power boost at the push of a button. TECHART makes it possible. The TECHART power kit TA 070/T1 for the Porsche Panamera Turbo provides the sports car with an extra boost of power whenever the driver needs it. With a touch of the sport button, located at the center console of the car, the Panamera gets an extra performance of 80 hp - resulting in 580 hp of pure driving pleasure,” stated the press release.
The new tuning kit for the Panamera will become available starting from August. The tuner has not released the pricing for the modification pack yet.
