Specialty Vehicle Engineering says you can have the 5.3-liter and 6.2L V8s with supercharging whether you want your 2024 Silverado Yenko/SC to be lowered or go on off-road adventures.
With Chevrolet, you can choose the right Silverado that suits your needs – whether you want it to be a formidable Ford F-150 rival or just your daily truck companion. The company says its 2024 Silverado is available in no less than eight trims and with four powertrains, helping everyone to "find the blend of strength, capability and efficiency that's right for you."

Pricing kicks off at $36,300, and in the proper configuration, you can have a Silverado with a max trailering rating of 13,300 lbs. (6,033 kg), a maximum available payload of 2,260 lbs. (1,025 kg) and 89.1 cu. ft. (2,523 liters) of cargo space. The automaker also lets you choose between Regular (with standard or long bed), Double (only standard bed), and Crew (short or standard bed) cabs, of course. As for engines, the choice is great here, too: TurboMax, 3.0L Duramax diesel, plus the well-known 5.3L and 6.2-liter EcoTec3 V8 engines, all hooked to automatic transmissions – with eight or ten speeds.

However, what if that isn't enough, despite the abundance of trims, cab and bed configurations, and powertrains? Well, no worries, as the aftermarket realm is just around the corner, waiting for your first sign of discontent to propose a quick relief. On this occasion, we will discuss what the good folks over at Specialty Vehicle Engineering have in store for the Chevy Silverado fans. Quick off the 2024MY bat, we could simply say that a lot.

Sure, two models and two engine options might not sound like much, but the truth is that a tuner catering to a couple of very distinct philosophies is not something you come across often. Thus, following the example of legendary venues like Hennessey, SVE has prepared the supercharged Yenko/SC upgrades for the 2024 Chevrolet Silverado with 'Lowered' and 'Off-Road' settings. The company, with three decades of experience as a 'second stage vehicle manufacturer,' is a tier one supplier to GM and its dealerships, but these trucks won't add much to the 65k vehicles already built.

That is simply because SVE will sell just 100 Yenko/SC 2024 Chevy Silverado Lowered or Off-Road trucks this year! Both are fitted with the company's 700 and 800-hp 5.3-liter, or 6.2-liter supercharged V8s, and the Lowered version can be ordered with 2024MY 2WD or 4WD Crew Cab and Double Cab LT, LTZ, RST, and High Country models with a short bed or standard bed. They are available directly from GM dealers, and novelties include 91 or 93 octane gas calibration plus the brand's patent-pending 'Boost-By-Wire' technology, which allows the benefit of fully variable boost control.

The 2024 Yenko/SC Silverado Lowered sport truck concept includes the new stance (2-inch lower at the front, five at the rear, Fox shocks all around) combined with signature Yenko/SC stripes and bespoke 22-inch alloy wheels. Inside, there are embroidered headrests in the front, Yenko floormats, and additional touches. The Off-Road version, meanwhile, is only available on 2024MY 4WD Crew Cab and Double Cab LTZ, RST, ZR2, and LT Trail Boss Z71 models with 10-speed transmission, short bed, or standard bed. It's obviously lifted (4-inch BDS system), comes with a unique composite hood insert, "aggressive" 1/4 panel graphics, unique 20-inch off-road wheels, plus 700HP or 800HP badges. There's no word on pricing for either version just yet, though.
