Suzuki SX4 Sedan Now Available

The British division of Japanese manufacturer Suzuki announced today the addition of a new version to the SX4 range: the sedan. It is already available for order and has a starting price of £11,895. The car is eligible for the still running UK scrappage scheme, which means an extra £2,000 discount from that price.

The new version is available with a 1.6l engine, developing 107 ps. Thanks to the use of drive by wire throttle, the SX4 can accelerate from naught to sixty in 10.7 seconds and can reach a top speed of 112 mph (180 mph). A bit lazy, you might say, yet a quick look at its fuel consumption ratings may convince you into buying one: 6.5l/100 km (CO2 emissions: 162g/km)

The equipment level of the SX4 sedan is based on the SX4 1.6 GLX hatchback trim. It comes equipped with six airbags; four electric windows,
MP3/WMA compatible CD tuner, automatic air conditioning, 15-inch alloy wheels, keyless entry and start and heated door mirrors.

The main difference between the SX4 saloon and the SX4 hatchback in terms of equipment is the addition of color keyed lower bumper and side sill moldings and the omission of roof rails, side protection moldings and black body trim.

On the interior, the SX4 saloon isn't groundbreaking, but provides the necessary comfort for the driver and passengers to enjoy a smooth long ride. The rear seats of the saloon are positioned higher than the ones in front to ensure better visibility for the ones in the back.

The sedan version of the SX4 is available in seven colors: Bright Red, Classy Red Pearl Metallic, Nocturne Blue Pearl Metallic, Blueish Black Pearl Metallic, Azure Grey Metallic, Silky Silver Metallic and Pearl White Pearl Metallic.
