Suzuki Accesories Invade the Web

Suzuki’s UK division is now offering its full motorcycle clothing and accessory range for online sale this month, becoming the first UK manufacturer to make such a move. The company had made efforts to bring the entire sales process online.

Suzuki’s 2011 clothing and accessory range offers a wide variety of items, from casual clothing to motorcycle accessories.

“Suzuki's 2011 clothing and accessory range features no-less than 1,252 items, and includes a comprehensive range of casual clothing, riding apparel, motorcycle accessories and many other unique products exclusive to Suzuki and its authorized dealer network,” explains the press release.

The new online process, which has a strong connection with Suzuki’s dealer network, offers customers the possibility to select the desired product and complete the order using secure payment. Subsequently, the item is shipped from the closest dealer that has it on stock.

"Giving customers the opportunity to complete the sales process online has been our goal since we added the wish list functionality to our parts and accessory website a couple of years back. With this system we are able to keep our dealer network involved, but also speed up the delivery process by selecting the closest dealer holding stock,” said Wayne Dye, Suzuki GB General Manager, Parts & Accessories Division.

“On top of this, soon to be added will be our 'in-store pick-up' option, where customers can select and pay for larger items and visit the nearest dealer for collection or to arrange fitment."
