The guys from AUTOCouture Motoring hit the jackpot a while ago. Not only did they have the chance to get their hands on a set of Lime Rock M3s but they also were fortunate enough to modify almost everything about them.
Due to a fruitful partnership between a Connecticut race track owned by Skip Barber, called Lime Rock, and the BMW, a limited edition M3 was designed and released into the world by the Bavarian company.
Only 200 of these Fire Orange painted beasts ever saw the light of day and 2 lucky owners decided to modify them for even more performance. Imagine the surprised faces of the guys from AUTOCouture when not one, but two Lime Rock owners called (within a couple of days) and asked them to supercharge their cars.
One model belongs to a guy named Bill and his car has a lot of mods, like full carbon fiber Vorsteiner GTS-V front bumper with the OEM GTS wing, Brembo GT 380mm BBK in matching Fire Orange, Platte Forme AG carbon fiber side steps, Vorsteiner GTS-V rear diffuser and Evolve E-tronic exhaust with ACM Test pipes. Oh, and before we forget, a ESS Tuning VT625 kit with matching Fire Orange plenum and supercharger.
The other on belongs to Matt, who went for more performance and less flash. His car has custom painted LightModz headlights and meaty Volk TE37-SL’s in black with matching orange stickers, KW suspension, OEM BMW Performance carbon fiber trunk lip, ACM Test pipes, Active Autowerke rear section and Remus power tubes. The final touch was a ESS Tuning VT650 supercharger for the monster V8 under the bonnet.
