We've already shown you a set of videos depicting the brawny 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat sporting red and silver exterior paint jobs. However, the Chrysler Group's pride and joy has recently been spotted wearing a Hulk-green hue, pretty similar to the standard Challenger's Sublime Green color option.
Officially dubbed 'Sublime Metallic Pearl Coat', it's not actually known how Dodge came up with the names of the aforementioned paint jobs, but we're pretty sure they have more in common with the Marvel Comics fictional superhero than the '90s ska punk band Sublime. In a purely subjective manner, it's hard not to fall in love with the lime neon green paint adorning the beautiful lines of the SRT Hellcat.
Further more, the wacky paint job contrasts beautifully with the black finish of the fuel filler cap, rear fascia and the 'Slingshot' 20-inch lightweight forged aluminum wheels. From the looks of it, the cabin is all wrapped up in a two-tone black Nappa leather and Alcantara combo. Displaying a Michigan license plate, the SRT Hellcat you can admire in the video below seems like it's a production-ready version.
Even though Dodge is still keeping the official horsepower and torque figures under lock and key, the "600-plus HP" SRT Hellcat has pretty talented competition in the form of the 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06, which churns out 650 horsepower and 650 lb-ft (881 Nm) of torque. So it's not an overstatement to presume that the Chrysler Group's most powerful road vehicle ever has to offer at least 650 horses from its supercharged 6.2-liter mill.
If you listen carefully, the Hellcat featured in the video below swaps cogs pretty seamlessly, indicating that the engine sends power to the rear wheels via the all-new TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission with paddle-shift capability. Fortunately for stick shift fans, a Tremec TR6060 six-speed gearbox based on the one fitted to the SRT Viper is also on offer.
