Japanese automaker Subaru has announced the introduction of two new concept cars at the 2013 New York International Auto Show later this month.
Pictured above, the XV Crosstrek Hybrid, which is based on the popular XV Crosstrek crossover, is Subaru's first-ever production hybrid vehicle. According to the brief press released issued by Subaru of America, the vehicle will use an in-house engineered hybrid system and the company's very own Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive.
In addition to the new XV Crosstrek Hybrid, the Japanese manufacturer will also reveal an "all-new performance concept car" in New York, with further details to be revealed later this month.
The 2013 New York Auto Show will be held from March 29 through April 7 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center.
