Now, if you want even more power than the 294 hp standard car can muster, you can then pay an additional £1,599 for the 340R upgrade, which gives the car an extra 39 hp, reaching a grand total of 335 hp and 490 Nm (361 lb-ft).
Couple those numbers to the excellent soundtrack of the 2.5-liter boxer-four (which gets a new exhaust system, as well) and its 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) time of just 4.7-seconds, and what you have is an unbeatable package in terms of value for money and performance.
