Subaru Launches 2011 Outback Interactive Brochure

US customers in need of an adventure in 2011 should definitely consider the Subaru Outback. The current generation diverges further from its wagon roots and embraces the crossover market trend. In order to better help its customers understand the features on their vehicle, Subaru of America has launched a new 2011 Subaru Outback dynamic brochure.

The brochure enables customers to electronically explore the vehicle with 360-degree views, videos and demonstrations. It also offers exterior paint and interior trim selectors for those who want to customize their vehicle’s look to their liking. Subaru has made the brochure available for download to your computer, a fact the company hopes will bring substantial environmental benefits by reducing paper usage, energy consumption, inks and production waste.

"Subaru is rolling out a full program of leading-edge, environmentally friendly dynamic brochures as consumers do more and more of their research online. The Outback brochure will be followed closely by versions for the new Forester and Impreza WRX/STI, with others planned in the near future,"
explains Sondra Shiffer, Brochures Manager.

Subaru of America has recently released its sales figures for 2010, when it enjoyed a record year for the brand. Some 263,820 units were shifted in 2010, which represents a 22 percent increase over the 2009 result. The company broke its 2009 record as early as November 3, but has showed no signs of slowing down since. In fact, the figures for the last month of the year (26,694 units sold) marked the best December in the company's history by a wide margin, surpassing the previous record, set in 2009, by 16 percent.
