It’s been proven that tiny homes can offer exceptional accommodation and remain fully transportable. This lavish single-level tiny home designed in New Zealand is a perfect example of how tiny living can equal a compromise-free, high-quality lifestyle.
The way it’s surrounded by wonderful, vast landscapes, this gorgeous single-level tiny house looks almost like a typical ranch. Of course, adding a huge deck and a pergola can do wonders with any tiny home, but there's more than that. This Kiwi home is truly spacious, boasting not only two generous separate bedrooms but also a chef's kitchen. Plus, everything is placed on one level, which makes it extra comfortable for most folks. It's no wonder that HouseMe presents it as its Deluxe model.

HouseMe Transportable Homes is an impressive brand in every way. It's fully New Zealand-owned and operated, with more than 17 years in the industry. It builds its transportable homes on an enormous site the size of three rugby fields (approximately 2.3 hectares/5.6 acres), with more than 120 people employed. So far, the company has completed and delivered almost 5,000 units all over New Zealand. It's easy to see that HouseMe is all about expansion, even when it comes to the most compact mobile dwellings.

Each of the dwellings built by HouseMe is defined as being modern, healthy, and "incredibly cost-effective,” which explains their huge success across a country that continues to battle with a marked housing crisis, even in smaller, rural communities. At the same time, although easily transportable, these livable units were built to be strong, fully insulated, and durable. In the words of the manufacturer, they will not only "survive a drive from Auckland to Invercargill, but also perform decades after delivery."

The brand's Deluxe Two-Bedroom Tiny House is named that way because it's extra wide, which makes it the largest unit available in the HouseMe range. It's 12.5 meters long (41 feet) and 3.6 meters wide (11.8 feet) at the roofline (3.4 meters wide at the dwelling). With 42.5 square meters (457 square feet) of floor space, this luxury tiny benefit from more than enough space to include two generous bedrooms, a wide bathroom, a lounge area, and an impressive kitchen, all on one level, without any inconvenient lofts or ladders.

The kitchen is indeed this home's heart. It's placed at the center, and it's beautifully configured with a generous U-shape. This ultra-modern layout offers ample countertop space for preparing meals and enjoying them. An entire section doubles as an extra-long breakfast bar with ample seating. It's also conveniently close to the lounge area. During warm summer days, this entire part of the house can easily become an indoor/outdoor space for entertaining guests.

Appliances include an oven, a four-burner electric hob, and a ducted rangehood. There's also a large compartment underneath the countertop for a front-loading washing machine. As for the fridge, the cabinetry at the end of this kitchen setup includes a dedicated area for a full-size fridge, as well as a very useful full-size pantry. In addition to the premium, full-size appliances, this large kitchen offers above-average storage space in the form of multiple cabinets and overhead cupboards. It also sits between large windows, which makes it extra luminous and well-ventilated. It must be a real pleasure to cook and dine in this spacious, airy kitchen that will make you forget you are inside a tiny house.

The bathroom is just as well equipped and truly elegant. The full-size shower cabin is a luxurious addition to any tiny home, with enough room left for a large bathroom vanity and a storage cabinet. The toilet, which is an eco-friendly model with a macerator pump, is discretely separated via a white wall.

In this modern configuration, each bedroom is placed at one end of the home. The main bedroom feels like a luxurious sanctuary. It can fit in a king-sized bed, and it comes with no less than four elegant wardrobes that basically cover one of the walls. A large window in front of the bed offers the best views in the morning and when it's time to sleep.

The second bedroom is smaller but still elegant. It can be fitted with a single bed and one wardrobe or configured for different purposes. This is a versatile additional room that doesn't necessarily have to be used as a second bedroom. It could become a home office, a playroom, or even a simple storage room for those who need more space for their stuff.

The lounge is also versatile due to its wide surface. Owners can choose how they want to decorate it and the type of seating they prefer. Since it's so close to the breakfast bar, it can easily double as a formal dining room that's even spacious enough to entertain guests.

The Deluxe Tiny is a great choice for families or customers who want to enjoy as much space as possible with the benefits of a transportable dwelling. Pricing for this affordable yet luxurious HouseMe model starts at NZD 138,000 ($86,200), with the final costs depending on the delivery.
