We've seen just about every kind of tuning project over the many years we've been covering the auto industry. But there's something that's been missing: a well customized Jaguar F-Type.
Part of the problem is that when the car came out, its sexy lines made it look almost intangible. Some firms have tried adding bigger wheels and some paint, but that didn't work either. We're confident the Germans at Startech have cracked it.

Ahead of the Geneva Motor Show, they've teased a few images of their upcoming project and everybody seems to agree it's an F-Type coupe or roadster. Normally, Startech make Range Rovers with the same attention to detail as sister company Brabus does its Mercs. However, Jaguars are made by the same company, so it's right up their alley.

Anybody who's driven or even seen the F-Type understands why we're so excited about this particular tuning project. Not a week goes by without us discussing if we'd buy the Jag, the Corvette or the 911 if we had the money. And while the other two have been showered in customization options, the Brit hasn't.

The body kit that Startech are working on is relatively subtle, but we can see carbon fiber inserts for the front bumper, side skirts and the front fender air vents. Of course, the interior will get unique leather upholstery, which has been done in a brownish tone with red piping and quilted stitching.

This isn't their only Geneva-bound project, not by a long shot. We've already shown you the white Evoque with 22-inch wheels and copper accents and there's also a Range Rover Sport on its way.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
