The Fiat Multipla would have been largely forgotten by now were it not for the fact that a few automotive news outlets called it the ugliest car in the world. It's probably not, though you still wouldn't want to go out with it.
To be fair, Fiat doesn't have the best reputation outside of the Mediterranean area and South America. People seem to think they're unreliably or cheaply made, sometimes engineered to be boring as well. Their history is filled with models that had to be discontinued as a result, but nothing as bad as the Multipla.

If we're honest, this whole segment got a bad rep. We're talking about MPVs, of course. The French ones also tried to think outside the box and were considered weird as a result. Who remembers the first Peugeot 3008 or the 3-door Renault Espace? The practicality of an MPV is way better than a crossover, though.

The ugly Multipla has gigantic side windows for maximum visibility as well as van door mirrors with two pieces of glass per side. The van theme continues inside, where you have three seats in the front, not the usual two. The body is also nice and short, so very easy to park, which is more than you can say about your usual six-seater.

The only really ugly bit is the limp under the windscreen. Some say that it looks like a car with two faces while others compare it to overweight women being pinched by her small clothes.

We've pretty much established that the Multipla is the least cool car ever, so it should come as a big surprise that we're showing you some tuning. With the body lowered onto some gigantic wheels and an aggressive esthetic package, the Fiat... still looks like crap, but fast crap.

This creatively styled Italian car is not real, just a figment of Rostislav Prokop's imagination. However, back when the weirdo was relatively new, plenty of people went ahead and modified it.
