SsangYong is set to reveal a new concept car at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show that will preview the Korean automaker’s new design philosophy.
Their new concept car, called the SIV-1, is a four-door crossover that looks like a development of the e-XIV Concept unveiled at last year’s Paris Auto Show. A quick photo comparison shows similar roofline, wheelarch design, and lower spoiler-mounted additional headlights. In other words, it looks less out of this world and more doable from a production point of view.
The SIV-1 has a 2,700-mm (106-inch) long wheelbase and is designed with just four individual seats, which would mean a lot of space when compared to its possible counterparts. But the Geneva Motor Show is still a long way off and we’d better wait for some more official information before jumping in on this.
Judging the concept by its design, the SIV-1 might become SsangYong’s best-looking vehicle yet. By the way, the Korean brand unveiled the 2014 Rodius minivan last week.
