SsangYong Motors revealed the next-generation Rodius model ahead of its world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show today.
Ssangyong's latest bus… we mean minivan, obviously better looking than it's plain ugly predecessor, is quite impressive when it comes to interior space, featuring four rows of seats accommodating up to 11 passengers.
The flexible seating system also makes the Rodius, that, by the way, still uses old Mercedes-Benz drivetrains, a great cargo van, thanks to the 3,240 liters of space it can provide.
SsangYong will offer a choice of two engines, a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four diesel or a 3.2-liter V6 petrol, and all-wheel drive remains an option. Buyers will have to link their engine choice to a six-speed manual or a five-speed automatic transmission.
According to the Korean carmaker, sales in Europe will begin in the second half of the year, while complete details will be revealed at the Geneva Motors Show in March.
The Rodius has been revealed only in South Korea, and you can scroll below to watch the first official videos.
