South Korean automaker Ssangyong is getting ready to unveil its LIV-1 Concept at the 2013 Seoul Motor Show, set to debut later this week.
The LIV-1, which stands for Limitless Interface Vehicle, is a seven seater SUV concept that's smaller than the company's Rodius, but bigger than the Rexton. Built to preview Ssangyong's new design philosophy, just like the SIV-1 showcased in Geneva earlier this month, the LIV-1 is supposed to preface a production car, but given the automaker's concept vs. production vehicle rate we wouldn't hold our breath.
As seen in the pictures posted below, the LIV-1 sports a hexagonal front grille, narrow LED headlamps (it's the new trend, folks!), flared wheel arches and muscular bumpers. The interior was conceived with a 2+2+3 seating layout.
No word on powertrains yet, but further details should surface in a few days. However, don't be surprised if Ssangyong shows up with a virtual hybrid LIV-1 in Seoul.
