SsangYong is a manufacturer with a long tradition of making good and rugged 4x4s, yet in Europe they have yet to make a real mark. They are trying, though, with the new Korando Sports Pick-Up which has just gotten its official pricing information and details for the UK market.
It costs from just £18,295, and judging by the amount of car and spec on offer, we would say it is quite a good deal. The Korando Sports is powered by a 155 hp 2.0-liter e-XDI diesel engine, which offers excellent economy for the class. It also features multilink rear suspension, in order to improve its on-road handling characteristics, as well as comfort.
It also comes with five-year limitless mileage warranty, 2.3-tonne towing capacity, while the list of standard-fit kit for the basic SX version includes 16-inch alloys, tinted windows, air-con, leather-clad steering wheel, central locking, MP3 player with USB port, and Bluetooth connectivity.
