Skoda is currently working full throttle to complete the development of the Rapid compact sedan, a vehicle that was previewed by the MissionL concept and we’ve now got the on-the-rod proof of this, with a camo-free prototype of the vehicle being captured on camera by a member of CarSpyShots.net forums.
The vehicle was spotted in the proximity of Mlada Boleslav, Chzech Republic, where the Skoda headquarters is located. The car comes with a multitude of elements that show it is still an unfinished product, such as the fake taillights. Fortunately, this comes to confirm Skoda’s previous announcements, which show that the road-going version of the vehicle will keep most of the design features seen on the MissionL concept.
The Skoda Rapid will come to the European market by the end of the current year and will be launched in China in 2013, being slotted between the Fabia and the Octavia.
