Our spy photographers have once again caught up with a member of the 5 Series family, a Touring prototype that's been camouflaged to cover up changes that will arrive with the mid-life LCI.
Scheduled to debut later this year, the 5 Series refresh will have new front and rear bumpers, refreshed headlights, LED taillights and many other small revisions. It’s not drastically different to the current model, but considering they've already sold 300,000 last year alone, BMW doesn't have anything to worry about.
The front bumper has a smoother look. Although camouflage restricts our vision, we know the 5 Series range will get the Air Curtain intakes at the front. First seen on the 4 Series Coupe Concept, they have large blades designed to channel air, reduce drag and look top-notch all at the same time.
The revised 5 Series range will debut this summer and will also come with a slew of new technology changes.
