An engine is made of cold metal. It runs on dirty dinosaur juice and sticks to the road using blocks of rubber. Volkswagen will tell you that it's worth spending €100,000 on the XL1 because it only needs 1 liter of fuel per 100 kilometers. We'll tell you your money will be put to far better use on this new Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe.
Previewed as a concept earlier this year, the S-Coupe as we like to call it is pure poetry in motion. That's because it packs all the cools stuff human beings have worked for over 100 years to develop, including a V8 engine. This particular S-Class is equipped not with a two-cylinder diesel, but with the mighty 5.5-liter AMG V8, which is the biggest twin-turbo V8 in production right now. It's a man's car, a man's car in the body shaped like a woman.
Viewed from above, the S 63 AMG Coupe has a feminine shape, with broad fenders and a tight midsection. The lines are much more elegant than on the S-Class sedan or the CL-Class which this replaces.
We apologize for the non-professional approach to this story, but the clip below really has tuned us from adults to little kids, eager to see the fully revealed S 63 AMG Coupe.
