Going to European Auto Source can prove to be a battle of will. This owner of a BMW 1 Series went in determined to get only a set of new tires. Somehow, he ended up getting more than that.
Alongside the new tires (Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110, measuring 235/40/18 at the front and 265/35/18 at the back) he also got a new set of wheels, from APEX, called ARC-8, with a beautiful design and Matte Black finish.
Surely that wasn't it. The car needed a lower stance, now that new wheels have been fitted. Said and done. In a matter of minutes, the 1er had a new set of H&R springs that lowered the car 1.8 inches at the front and 1.2 inches at the back.
The end result is a completely refreshed car, even though some might say that not much has changed. That might be true but what did change was enough to give it a new look.
