The owner of a Tesla Cybertruck had had enough of the white-and-black plastic inside the pickup truck. So they went for Alcantara. Here is the first Cybertruck with the feature. Tesla will be offering it, too.
Surfaces in black and white, with the light shade covering the door panels and the lower dashboard area. That is all that Tesla offers right now for the interior of the Cybertruck Foundation Series. Paying around $120,000 for a cabin full of plastics, be them covered in vegan vinyl, might not exactly be everyone's cup of tea.

Some decided to make the compromise. Order a Cybertruck with the not-so-interesting color combo and then take it to an aftermarket shop to customize it inside out. Slap a wrap over the stainless steel body that can't be painted, add some new wheels and there you go: mission accomplished.

Tesla also offers several wrap colors. The automaker started with the Satin Ceramic White and Satin Stealth Black, then extending it to a total of 11 wrap colors, with the Rose Gold, Satin Crimson Red, Satin Abyss Blue, and Satin Iridescent Purple being the most daring of the list.

But those might be too expensive compared to what aftermarket shops offer. Tesla wraps the Cybertrucks for either $6,000 or $6,500, while there are shops out there doing the exact same job for under $3,000.

The owner of the Cybertruck that we are now dealing with did not leave the exterior untouched either. Therefore, the stainless steel body of the Cybertruck was wrapped in a high-end super gloss black film that radically changed the looks of the model. Tinted windows enhance the mysterious attitude of the EV.

The customer went all in, also replacing the 22-inch factory wheels of the vehicle. It now rides on fully forged 22-inch C7 wheels finished in Satin Black, with Falcon all-terrain tires.

But we have seen Cybertrucks in gloss black before. It isn't something to write home about anymore. We have also seen Cybertrucks on massive wheels. T Sportline also offers 24-inchers.

But there are customization shops that go for more. For instance, Forgiato Designs fitted the pickup truck with 30-inch "steelies." Now, if that's not an attention-grabber, then we don't know what it is.

However, not many dared to interfere with the interior of the Cybertruck. A couple of weeks ago, we reported about one sporting an all-black interior instead of the black and white monotonous combination.

Now, we are dealing with a cabin wrapped in Alcantara. The owner wanted the soft material to cover the dashboard from pillar to pillar and the headliner, as well as the interior door panels.

Tesla must have heard customers complaining. Therefore, the Cyberbeast that the automaker has started delivering, has its upper dashboard area covered in Alcantara. But all those who were in a hurry to get their hands on the UFO-looking truck and purchased the Foundation Series cand still get the Alcantara on board by calling on an aftermarket shop.
