One of the best assets of the tiny smart fortwo is sometimes one of its downsides. The car is so small that it can fit even in non-existing parking lot spaces, such as the ones between normal-sized cars.
Its lilliputian size is also the reason for which a not very large water-filled sinkhole completely engulfed a smart fortwo in Jacksonville, Florida, though.
A woman named Madaline Keeble was minding her own business while driving her white fortwo down the street when she noticed what she thought was a large puddle caused by a water pipe break.
Deciding that her tiny smart can more than handle a puny puddle the woman decided not to go around but through it, which obviously proved to be a pretty disastrous decision.
“I saw some water on the road and I saw the security officer in his car at the corner, and I made my turn, and 20 seconds later I had water in my smart car up to my ears,” said Keeble.
Considering the woman escaped with no injuries, we think it's safe to say that the photos bellow are some of the funniest smart-related images we have seen all week, even though we kind of feel of bad for the car.
