smart fortwo Facelift UK Pricing Released

smart’s UK division has released the pricing for the facelifted fortwo, which is now available for sale.

The revamp has brought new front & rear aprons, fresh side skirts, as well as a filler cap finished in the body color as standard. The Pulse equipment level now comes with new three-double-spoke alloy rims, while the Exclusive one offers Monoblock VII alloy wheels. As for the exterior color choice, both Pulse and Passion can be ordered in brighter shades of new light blue and matt light green.

The interior has received new materials, an extra storage space, new steering wheels and more toys. The vehicle’s engine range has also been improved, as the units now deliver a better fuel economy, with the entire lineup now emitting less than 120 grams of CO2 per km.

The refreshed incarnation of the smart fortwo can be yours starting from a price of 8,780 pounds ($13,650 or EUR10,510).

”The previous smart attracted a whole new generation of motorists to the brand when it was launched in 2007 and the advancements of the new model are destined to further broaden its appeal," said Gary Savage, Managing Director Mercedes-Benz Cars UK. “The significant changes ensure that the new smart continues to be at the forefront of its sector when it comes to comfort, style and environmental-compatibility, yet do not detract from the car’s unique fun-to-drive nature that has captivated over 60,000 motorists since the smart was officially launched in the UK over 10 years ago."
